The heat, the sand and the constant sandal wearing does takes its toll on your feet here.  Add tiled floors to the mix and you have a recipe for scary cracked heels!  A weekly foot soak and treatment is a must.  I find that I am constantly battling my dry, cracked feet and used to spend a fortune on the over the counter creams. Now, I have moved to more natural ways to fight the dryness and they work just great!

Try some of the feet rescue remedies below and enjoy softer heels and feet!

Banana – Mash bananas into a pulp and spread over your heels and other dry spots.   Leave on for 10 minutes, wash off with warm water and dry.

Olive Oil – Before going to bed, rub olive oil into your dry, cracked feet but do not rinse.  Then put out on a pair of socks and go to sleep. Leave the socks on overnight.  This will help the feet to absorb all the moisture and they will be softer in the morning.

Rosewater – Apply a mixture of glycerin and rosewater to your feet everyday for at least 15 days and the result will be amazing as your cracked heels will restore to their actual softness and will heal wonderfully.

Honey and Coconut – Mix 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 teaspoons of coconut oil in a bowl.   Place the bowl in a larger bowl of warm water to heat the mixture.  Rub it over your feet and keep on for at least 15 minutes.   Wrap your feets in socks or clingfilm for a better result.   Wash off and dry feet
